Completely hand-made

The pizzeria of Villa Dafne opened in 2016: It is open every day in the summer and on weekends the rest of the year. You can enter the pizzeria from outside, if you want.

We have two different locations: in the summer, under the gazebo overlooking the pool; the rest of the year, inside, with a separate entrance. The pizzeria is separated from the main restaurant.

All the raw materials we use to prepare our pizza come from our farm: wheat, siccagno tomato sauce, mozzarella, olive oil – not to forget the salami, ham, cheese and ricotta, eggplant and peppers, wild vegetables and much more. In keeping with the farmhouse philosophy, the motto of our pizza is "completely hand-made".

Agri-Pizzeria

The Villa Dafne Agritourism has been an operating farm and guest house for years. The rooms and the restaurant, the animals and the dairy, the farm and its products branded under the name “Le Bontà di Villa Dafne” (The Delicacies of Villa Dafne) – they all share a common purpose: uniting Agriculture with Tourism. Villa Dafne runs its AgriPizzeria with the same philosophy.

Zero-kilometre Pizza made with ingredients from our farm: siccagno tomato sauce, mozzarella, salami, ricotta, cheese, olive oil, vegetables.

Homegrown

Our gardens cover an area of several acres and produce a great variety of vegetables. The climate is dry and the clayey soil and the Sicilian sun give our vegetables a sweet and intense taste.

They are cultivated with careful resource management to maintain the full integrity of the soil-plant-water system. Above all, each of our crops is cultivated in harmony with the rhythms of nature and the passing seasons. Eating seasonal greens and vegetables means not only eating properly, but also eating in a healthy and natural way.

Hiking and excursions

Trekking

Words are not enough to describe the beauty of a land so incredibly rich in landscapes, each of which changes its appearance from season to season. The terrain scorched by the sun in the summer gives way in spring to a green ocean spotted here and there with red fields of sainfoin in bloom.

Fields and walkways to explore along paths and roads of varying levels of difficulty: from walks suitable for those venturing out for the first time to those preferred by professional hikers and backpackers. Villa Dafne, thanks to its large 500-acre property, allows its guests to practice trekking in complete safety and, above all, with the aid of reliable indications on how to enjoy their nature holiday in Sicily to the fullest.

Rooms

Villa Dafne offers its guests rooms and mini-apartments designed to let them discover the beauty of the Sicilian countryside in the comfort and quiet of the valley. Colours and scents that change with every season will enchant you with their charm and lead you to discover a new Sicily each time you visit.
Each room at Villa Dafne is furnished with Arte Povera furniture, enhanced by modern comforts and accompanied naturally by a view of the valley that will be difficult to forget.

Hospitality at Villa Dafne includes Charming Rooms: comfortable double family spaces to which one or two beds or a cot for younger guests can be added. Also available are mini-apartments with kitchenettes. Each room is furnished in the style of Villa Dafne and is a practical alternative for those who want to feel at home while they are away from home.
